Clancy & Theys Construction Company held a beam signing and topping off ceremony today for Lenoir Community College’s new Senator Jim Perry Aviation Center for Excellence, which is being constructed at the North Carolina Global TransPark.
Clancy and Theys Construction Company has made significant progress, having completed site work and erected the steel beams and concrete block walls as the framework for this new building takes shape.
This new learning facility will enhance our region's commitment to the aerospace industry, manufacturing, and support operations for the Department of Defense. It has been meticulously designed to address both the immediate and long-term needs of the aviation and aerospace workforce in our local area and throughout Eastern North Carolina. LCC's goal is to equip the next generation of aviation professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in an evolving industry, ensuring a bright future for graduates and the regional economy.
The North Carolina Global TransPark Economic Development Region is eager to witness this project develop into a valuable asset for Eastern North Carolina.
