By the end of 2024, the new fuel farm at the North Carolina Global TransPark had made significant progress. Contractors completed the interior and exterior tank coatings, pipe fabrication, and line connection work. Tank crews have demobilized from the site, and final grading, concrete, and asphalt work is ongoing. Completion is estimated for the first quarter of 2025.
This new fuel farm, adjacent to NC Global TransPark's 11,500-ft runway, will help fulfill the increasing fuel service requirements resulting from recent tenant expansions and the anticipated airport growth, with its storage capacity of 500,000 gallons of fuel.
