The North Carolina Global TransPark is proud to share that Airport Director, Gage King, is now serving as President of the N.C. Airports Association Board of Directors.
North Carolina Airports Association's mission is to strengthen North Carolina airports through legislative advocacy, professional growth, and promotion of the positive impacts of airports. The NCAA also administers two aviation scholarship programs that benefit students seeking advanced education in transportation and aviation related fields. The NC Airports Association is a non-profit organization that includes Executive, Professional, Affiliate, and Honorary members. Currently, North Carolina's statewide aviation system comprises 72 publicly owned and operated airports. Of these, 10 are air carrier airports offering service to commercial or scheduled airlines, in addition to serving general aviation. The remaining 62 are general aviation facilities that support private and corporate aviation. The association's goal is to help provide the best airports and services available anywhere.
