NCGTP’s Former Terminal Building Transitioning Into New Office Space

The steel framework for the interior has been completed, and sheetrock has been installed, creating much-needed office space and meeting areas. HVAC and electrical systems are being installed and upgraded throughout the building. For the exterior, the former terminal building's multiple entrance doors have been replaced with glass storefront windows, featuring one main entrance door that leads into a lobby area. Furthermore, the building’s aging side windows have been replaced with modern ones.

This renovation project aims to repurpose the former North Carolina Global TransPark terminal building. The renovated space will become 9,000 square feet of office space to prepare for future development. The initiative focuses on enhancing the facility's functionality and providing additional amenities, such as small business incubator areas, training spaces, and meeting facilities.

Jackson Builders of Goldsboro, NC, and its team of contractors have been working tirelessly to keep this project on track for completion in May 2025.
