However, over the past year, one November evening stood out: over the 11,500-foot runway, the multicolored runway lights sparkled against a brilliantly burning sunset that showcased an array of pink, purple, and orange hues. The sight was so spectacular that it made the massive runway seem small in comparison. Just one more great asset for our region is eastern North Carolina's natural beauty!   ![NCGTP Sunset](https://blog.ncgtpedr.com/hs-fs/hubfs/NCGTP%20Sunset.jpg?width=1800&height=1200&name=NCGTP%20Sunset.jpg)   ## Read On [![](https://blog.ncgtpedr.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Lenoir%20County%20Golden%20LEAF-POST-2.jpg?width=352&name=Lenoir%20County%20Golden%20LEAF-POST-2.jpg)](https://blog.ncgtpedr.com/ncgtpedr-news/lenoir-county-receives-golden-leaf-grant) ##### [Lenoir County Receives Golden LEAF Grant](https://blog.ncgtpedr.com/ncgtpedr-news/lenoir-county-receives-golden-leaf-grant) Great news for Lenoir County as it has been selected to participate in the SITE Program -...
