NC Global TransPark Fuel Farm Construction - Update

Crews have been busy adding the finishing touches to the three vertical Jet A-1 fuel storage tanks that dominate the site.  Meanwhile, a single horizontal storage tank has been installed for Avgas use. Crews continue to install the final plumbing hardware and control systems that will enable the fuel to flow correctly. Security fencing is being erected, and asphalt work for the access drive is planned for the near future.

This new fuel farm, adjacent to NC Global TransPark's 11,500-ft runway, will help fulfill the increasing fuel service requirements resulting from recent tenant expansions and the anticipated airport growth, with its storage capacity of 500,000 gallons of fuel.
