Lenoir County Development Alliance Hold Inaugural Meeting

The Lenoir County Development Alliance (LCDA) held its inaugural meeting in May. This is an exciting step for the county, the community, and the EDR region. After years of thoughtful discussion about uniting the Committee of 100 and Lenoir County Economic Development, Lenoir County proudly announces that the LCDA, 501(c)(3) is now officially a reality.

This new public-private partnership represents a shared commitment to driving economic growth, attracting private investment, and creating quality jobs for Lenoir County while becoming a stronger partner with the EDR region. There’s still a lot of hard work to be done, but we’re confident the LCDA will be a key asset for the county, region, and Eastern, NC.

EDR thanks all the dedicated individuals who have stepped up to serve on the LCDA board.
