Construction is progressing steadily on the Senator Jim Perry Aviation Center for Excellence (ACE) project at Lenoir Community College, located within the North Carolina Global TransPark.
The construction team, Clancy and Theys Construction Company, is installing a large hangar door to access the lab space. Meanwhile, infrastructure systems, including plumbing, electrical wiring, and heating and cooling, are being installed.
This new learning center highlights our community's dedication to the aerospace industry and its support for the Department of Defense. Lenoir Community College is committed to preparing the next generation of aviation professionals, equipping them with the vital skills needed to succeed in this fast-changing industry. This initiative will help ensure a bright future for our graduates and boost the region's economy.
