Greene Central High School – Construction Update
Greene County commissioners joined Trey Cash for a beam signing and topping-off ceremony at the new Greene Central High School in early June. This project is funded by a $62 million state grant, allowing Greene County to invest in its future and the well-being of the community.
It is inspiring to see this project progressing, as the construction of the building represents more than just the assembly of steel and concrete; it symbolizes a commitment. This commitment signifies that public education is vital and that rural students deserve the same opportunities as their peers elsewhere. Ultimately, the future of economic growth in our region relies on access to quality education!
