The Barnhill Contracting and TA Loving Company, Joint Venture, continues the positive momentum on the massive 60-acre C-130 project, with one structure having been erected and steel for multiple structures being delivered. Work actively continues in installing rebar and pouring concrete foundations for the paint booth and other MRO structures, along with developing stormwater management and utilities. A taxiway connecting the runway to the new aircraft parking area has been completed and is ready for connection to the new complex.
Once completed, this complex will support Fleet Readiness Center East, enhancing maintenance operations for C-130s and other aircraft. The project is expected to create over 400 jobs in the NC Global Transpark, significantly benefiting Eastern North Carolina.
