EDR’s Trey Cash Attends University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute

Through the Governor James E. Holshouser Professional Development Scholarship, awarded by the NCEDA Foundation, Trey Cash traveled to Kansas from late April to early May to attend an economic development course at the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute, the nation's premier economic development program.

The course examined credit analysis, real estate reuse, redevelopment strategies, and the financial tools that enable communities to grow purposefully. Attendees concentrated on mastering these best practices and implementing them effectively in their communities.

This out-of-state training was made possible through a scholarship from the NCEDA Foundation, and Trey Cash, Greene County, and the North Carolina Global TransPark Economic Development Region highly appreciate it.
