Participants are engaging in interactive sessions with experts, exploring some of the most relevant and timely topics in the field.   For example, today, NCEDA board member Trey Cash (EDR and Green - Lenoir County Economic Development) teamed up with Dave Horne (Smith Anderson) to lead a discussion titled “Shaping Policy: Why Advocacy Matters for Economic Development.” They highlighted the importance of knowing your legislators and making sure they know you.   Additionally, this event offers a vital networking chance for EDR staff to connect with fellow practitioners and partners from across the state.
