EDR Represented at 2025 American South Site Selection Summit

Mark Pope, President of the North Carolina Global TransPark Economic Development Region, attended the 2025 American South Site Selection Summit in Atlanta, Georgia, which is hosted by the Southern Economic Development Council (SEDC). The 17-state SEDC is North America's premier regional economic development association.

This leading national event brings together site selection consultants and economic development experts. Annually the summit provides a dynamic platform to engage with business leaders, explore emerging trends, and highlight community advantages, with a projected attendance this year of 500-600 attendees! The summit serves as a launchpad for collaboration. Economic developers, consultants, corporate decision-makers, and policymakers are all present to strengthen relationships, explore new opportunities, and shape the strategies that will protect and advance the American South.
