The North Carolina Global TransPark Economic Development Region (EDR) Board of Directors is pleased to announce its slate of officers for the 2026 to 2027 board year. J. Mac Daughety will serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Chairman Daughety is a resident of Lenoir County and currently serves on the Lenoir County Board of Commissioners. Chris Gurley will serve as Vice Chairman. Vice Chairman Gurley is a resident of Wayne County and currently serves on the Wayne County Board of Commissioners. Additional officers include Chip Crumpler, who will serve as Treasurer, and Jeremy Stroud, who will serve as Secretary. The Economic Development Region extends its congratulations to these officers and expresses its appreciation for their continued leadership and commitment to public service. As the organization enters the new board year, its leadership remains focused on strengthening regional partnerships, supporting existing industries, attracting new investment, and advancing economic development opportunities throughout Greene, Lenoir, and Wayne Counties and the North Carolina Global TransPark. The EDR looks forward to another productive year of regional collaboration as its Board of Directors continues working to promote economic growth and build a stronger future for Eastern North Carolina.   About the Economic Development Region The North Carolina Global TransPark Economic Development Region (EDR) serves Greene, Lenoir, and Wayne Counties and the North Carolina Global TransPark.
