Trey Cash has been named Chief Operating Officer of the North Carolina Global TransPark Economic Development Region.
In this new role, Trey will help lead the Region’s operations and strategy while continuing his work in economic development across Greene, Lenoir, and Wayne Counties and the North Carolina Global TransPark. He will also continue leading the Greene County Economic Development Partnership and the Lenoir County Development Alliance.
Trey previously served as the Economic Development Director for Greene and Lenoir Counties, which are part of the Region. Trey brings more than 13 years of experience in local and state government and holds a Master of Business Administration from Fayetteville State University, a Master of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University, and a Bachelor of Science from Western Carolina University. He is also a Certified North Carolina Economic Developer and a Certified Workforce Developer.
The North Carolina Global TransPark Economic Development Region serves Greene, Lenoir, and Wayne Counties and the NC Global TransPark, supporting industrial growth, existing industries, and regional development across Eastern North Carolina.
